HORSE TRAINING PROGRAM
A small working ranch built around the daily work of the horse.
Entry into the program begins with an evaluation.
THE RANCH
The ranch operates as a private horse training program focused on consistency, order, and the correct development of the horse.
This is not a boarding stable and it is not a riding school.
Horses here are part of a structured program where daily work, proper care, and patience guide their progress.
The program is intentionally limited to a small number of horses so each animal receives calm, consistent attention.
Less horses. More criteria.
TRAINING FOCUS
The program focuses on the correct development of a well-balanced riding horse.
Training emphasizes:
• solid horsemanship foundations
• calm handling and responsiveness
• balance and physical development
• practical riding suited to ranch terrain and open country
The ranch does not specialize in competition disciplines such as racing, dancing horses, or exhibition training. The objective is a horse that is confident, responsive, and reliable.
AGE AND STAGE OF HORSES
The program accepts horses that are ready to begin or continue structured training.
This typically includes:
• young horses beginning their training
• horses that have started under saddle but still need foundation and consistency
• horses requiring further development and refinement
The ranch does not operate as a rehabilitation program for severely aggressive or dangerous horses.
Each horse is evaluated individually before acceptance into the program.
FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR THE RIGHT HORSE
Some owners arrive at the ranch already having a horse ready for training.
Others are still searching for the right horse to begin the process.
When appropriate, the ranch can guide owners through the selection process and introduce them to reputable breeders and horse providers.
Choosing the right horse is an important first step, and careful selection helps ensure the training process begins on the right foundation.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
Each horse follows a structured routine designed to support both training and physical development.
Daily work may include:
• groundwork and round pen exercises
• training sessions under saddle
• time in the conditioning walker
• rest and observation between sessions
Care and handling follow the same principles: consistency, calmness, and attention to detail.
Owners are welcome to observe the process and participate when appropriate, but the rhythm of the program is guided by the needs of the horse and the criteria of the trainer.
WHAT THE PROGRAM INCLUDES
The program combines training, daily care, and conditioning in a structured environment.
This includes:
• daily training directed by the ranch trainer
• consistent handling and calm management
• feeding with grain, alfalfa, and basic supplements
• monthly farrier service
• routine veterinary checkups
• use of the round pen and conditioning walker
• stall, corral, and facility maintenance
Routine veterinary checkups are included as part of the program. Any treatments, medications, diagnostic procedures, or specialized veterinary care required by the horse are the responsibility of the owner.
Limited Capacity. The ranch maintains a small program limited to eight horses in training at any given time. This allows every horse to receive consistent attention and daily work. Availability depends on the progression of horses already in the program.
WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR
The program is designed for owners who understand that good horses require time, patience, and consistency.
It is well suited for people who:
• value the long-term development of the horse
• trust the professional criteria of the trainer
• respect the rhythm of a structured program
• appreciate calm, orderly environments
It is not designed for those seeking rapid results or recreational boarding.
Good horses take time. Owners in the program understand and respect that process.
EVALUATION PROCESS
Admission to the program follows a simple evaluation process.
Initial inquiry. The owner shares basic information about the horse, including age, background, current condition, and training goals.
Conversation. A short discussion helps determine whether the horse and the owner are aligned with the philosophy of the program.
Horse evaluation. If appropriate, the horse is evaluated in person before acceptance into the program.
Admission is confirmed once the evaluation is complete and a stall becomes available.
A minimum recommended stay of three months allows the training process to develop properly.
THE TRAINING TEAM
Training at the ranch is led by experienced horsemen who work daily with the horses in the program.
Their focus is consistent handling, correct fundamentals, and the calm development of each horse over time.
The program emphasizes criteria and process rather than individual style.
HOSPITALITY AND RANCH LIFE
The ranch exists first for the work of the horse.
Occasionally, the ranch opens its social spaces for gatherings, meals, or quiet evenings among members.
These moments are part of the spirit of the place, but they remain secondary to the daily work that defines the ranch.
Horses come first.
PROGRAM FEE
Monthly training program: $48,000 MXN per horse
The program operates under a defined structure and is intentionally limited to a small number of horses.
Admission to the program is subject to evaluation of both the horse and the owner.
REQUEST AN EVALUATION
Owners interested in the program may request an evaluation for their horse.
Availability is limited due to the small number of stalls and the structured nature of the program.
