Momentum
In the beginning nothing moves easily.
Every conversation has to be earned. Every door has to be knocked on. You push and get a fraction of what you put in.
Then something shifts.
You can't always name the moment. But suddenly the conversations find you. The doors open before you knock. The work you did two years ago is paying dividends you didn't plan for.
That's momentum.
Most leaders think momentum follows orders.
It doesn't.
And by the time you notice it's gone — you're knocking on doors again.
