Red Bull tasted terrible. Came in a tiny can. Cost more than it should have.
Every data point said wrong.
That's exactly why it worked.
The problem is simple: if you follow the logic and fail, you can defend yourself. If you bet on something interesting and fail, you're out.
So people stop betting on interesting.
Not because they lack imagination.
Because the system punishes it.
The question isn't "do we have room for crazy?"
It's "who on this team is allowed to be wrong in an interesting way — and still be here tomorrow?"
