A LEATHER-WRAPPED GLASS JUG BUILT FOR STORING AND POURING WHISKEY, TEQUILA, MEZCAL, BACANORA, AND OTHER SPIRITS.
THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE
The braid.
Pulled tight by hand, made from double leather cord, crossing over itself until it holds.
Not decoration.
Structure.
It’s what gives the jug its strength. It’s what your hand finds without thinking.
And no two ever come out the same.
WHERE IT COMES FROM
There was a time when bacanora — Sonora’s desert agave spirit — wasn’t legal.
It moved quietly. Across mountains. Across ranches.
Glass was used because it worked. Leather was added because it had to.
To keep the sun off. To take the edge off the heat. To make it easier to carry and harder to break.
The braid comes from the same hands that worked reins and rope.
Built to hold. Not to look good.
HOW IT’S MADE
It starts with full-grain leather.
Cut from strong hides, then shaped wet over the glass and left to dry slowly until it fits tight.
Edges are trimmed clean. Nothing extra. Nothing loose.
Then the braid.
Each cord is cut, doubled, and braided under tension by hand. No stitching. No shortcuts.
It tightens over time. It doesn’t give.
MATERIALS
Full-grain leather was chosen because it holds up.
It will mark, darken, and soften with use. No two will age the same.
The glass is solid and straightforward — built to do its job without compromise.
BUILT TO LAST
The leather is made to last for generations.
The glass can break.
If it does, we can replace the bottle and fit the leather again—so it keeps going.
HOW IT LIVES
This isn’t something you keep perfect.
It sits where people gather. It gets picked up, poured, passed around.
Sun, hands, time — they all leave a mark.
The leather darkens. Softens. Becomes yours.
WHAT IT’S FOR
Whiskey. Tequila. Mezcal. Bacanora. Or anything worth pouring and sharing.
