How investors can become key change agents in accelerating the transition towards sustainability.
During this online event, we are presenting an Investment Philosophy that proposes a new approach for financing transformation and long-term system change. The philosophy strives to inspire and mobilise public and private investors to recognise and activate their role as change agents for accelerating a just transition towards sustainability.
The Investment Philosophy has been developed as part of the Deep Transitions project, hosted at Utrecht University (The Netherlands) and the University of Sussex (United Kingdom). In this project, an interdisciplinary research team, consisting of historians, sustainability transition scholars, economists, and innovation experts, collaborated with the Global Investors Panel, a cohort of 18 public and private investors, who seek transformative change.
